Going somewhere and have to bring your hamster?
is the ride 1-5 hours long then here are some tips


When its Cold
-put a warn towel over ur hamster cage
-take out the water bottle if it drips it will make everything worse
-try to take ur hamster in a small plastic carrier
-and put a heating pad under your hamster cage but set it to low

Whens its Hot
-keep the waterbottle in no matter what
- freeze some big rocks and put them in ur hamster cage
-open all windows if u dont have a a/c in ur car

1-5 day trips
going on a road trip is it 1 day or more?then this is the part u NEED to Know its tips for you and tips for your hamster

TIPS FOR YOU
- if ur on the road for two days or more ur not going to want to have to hold the hamster cage all the time right?put it between ur legs and u dont have to worry

-worring that ur hamster going to kick out all its bedding? put the cage in a large box and put it back between ur legs
with a towel under the cage and box

-DID ur hamster manage to escape?and is somewhere in the car? stop the car at a gas station unload and check every where (i had this happened before the hamster was found in the morning when it crawled up in my sister shoe and bit her when she tried to but it on) but if u have one a car
with open spaces in a 50% chance ur hamster perished-

- tips for YOUR HAMSTER-
- KEEP THE WATERBOTTLE IN AT ALL TIMES!dont listen to ppl when they say to take it out u will get a very hot and sick hamster-

-take out the wheel!!! never leave the wheel in its a death trap waiting to happen!(note: i know a boy who left the wheel in and it fell ontop of the hamster and the hamster died)-

-clean the cage theday before u leave trust me u will be thankful that u did-
-have a waterbottle near u incase they drink it all!-
Traveling with pregant or nursing moms

-carry the cage at all times!-
-only feed her hamster food intill u are at home-
if she has young 2-3 weeks old they should still be carried!
